15 Driver Installation
You are required to install the driver first before connecting it to the computer.
(1) Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM and execute the Setup.htm file on it. Click
the player picture with correct model.
(2) Select “Run this program from its current location” in order to execute Setup.exe
program at once, and then click “OK” to continue.
(3) Click “Yes” to start installation.
(4) Click “Next” to continue.
(5) Click “Yes” to accept the license agreement.
(6) Waiting for the system to execute the requested operations.
(7) Click “Finish” to finish the installation and restart the computer.
16 Firmware Upgrade
To get the latest version of the device, you can upgrade the firmware by the following
steps. Please backup your important data before upgrade because the player will be
formatted after upgrade.
Method 1:
(1) Connect the player to the PC, copy the *.BIN file provided by the vendor to root of
the player.(You can download the file from the vendor’s website if applicable)
(2) Disconnect the player from the PC and reconnect it. You see “FIRMWARE
UPGRADE” on the display. Please wait for the upgrade process to complete.
(3) When you see “MASS STORAGE” on the display, upgrade is successful.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Do not disconnect the player during upgrading. Otherwise,
the device may be corrupted.
Method 2:
(1) Copy the *.BIN file update file to the player.
(2)
Power on the player, it will start firmware upgrade automatically.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
During upgrading, please make sure the battery charge is
enough. Otherwise, the device will be corrupted.
