1. Main components

2. Intended use

Jet fans of type CGF are standard fans for
use in smoke control and car park
ventilation.

3. Handling

3.1 Marking

Affixed on the jet fan is a standard name
plate with Novenco’s name and address.
The name plate also states product type
and size, serial number/order number,
max. RPM, weight, production year, and
CE-marking.

Affixed on jet fans for smoke extraction
is a name plate with further data, a.o. air
performance data, max. temperature,
working period, category/class in
accordance with relevant standards and
regulations.
Motor plate with relevant motor data is
found on the side of the fan.

3.2 Weight

3.3 Transport

Jet fans are delivered on pallets to allow
for forklift transport.
Lifting and transport must be done with
care, as the fans are vulnerable to
vibrations and shocks. Theses can result
in imbalance and deformations. Check
the that the fan wheel can rotate free,
before installation.

Important:

The jet fans must not be
used in explosive
environments.
