How does the system operates
The transmitter sends an Audio/Video signal from an A/V source to the receiver via 2.4GHz radio
frequency signal. This 2.4 GHz signal can be broadcasted up to a 50 meters in free field and up to 8 meters
indoors. Range depends on the numbers of floors and walls the signal has to travel through and material
these walls and floors are made of. The receiver converts the radio signal back to an A/V signal. The IR
extender converts the infrared signals sent by the remote control of the A/V source into 433 MHz radio
frequency signals. The transmitter will then convert back these signals into infrared signals in order to
control the A/V device wanted.
Connecting the SCART Audio/Video Transmitter
1. Link the 6 Volts input of the transmitter with the AC/DC power supply adapter. Plug the adapter into a
standard 230 Volts electric socket.
2. Connect the SCART Video Sender to a free SCART socket (AV1,EXT1,AUX1, etc.) of the appliance
you want to transmit the images and sound from (DVD, satellite, VCR, etc.).
3. Insert the infrared cable at the side of the transmitter and stick the LEDs on the infrared receiver of the
A/V sources.
4. Switch on the transmitter using the On/Off button.
5. Select a channel (A-D).
6. Turn on the A/V source you want to transmit the images and sound from.
Connecting your Audio/Video receiver
1.Link the 6 Volts input of the receiver with the AC/DC adapter that you will then plug into a standard
230 Volts electric socket.
2.Connect the SCART Videosender to the SCART socket of your TV.
3. Switch on your receiver using the On/Off switch.
4. Select a channel (A-D) same as the transmitter.
5. Switch on the TV and, using your TV remote control, select the SCART input which the SCART video
sender is connected to.
