SAFETy
REGULATION
• Do not let persons, children included, with reduced physical
sensory, reduced mental functions or lack of experience and
knowledge use the appliance. They must have supervision or
instruction for the operation of the appliance by a person who is
responsible for their safety.
• Do not let children play with the appliance.
POWER SUPPLY
• An AC power adapter is required to be connected to a wall outlet.
Be sure only to use an adapter with the appropriate AC voltage
rating to prevent component damage. A DC 12V switching power
output and 1A adapter is provided and generally used to power
the device.
• In addition to the adapter, there is a rechargeable battery inside
the device that serves as a back-up in case of a power failure.
• During normal operation, the AC power adapter is used to supply
power to the Control Panel and at the same time recharge the
battery. It takes approximately 48 hours to fully charge the
battery. When the AC power adapter is removed, the system will
begin to detect battery condition automatically.
• If the AC Power Failure lasts for 15 seconds, the Power LED
indicator will go off. After the AC power failure situation lasts for
15 minutes, an AC power failure message will be transmitted via
SMS to alert the user.
• When the AC power has been restored for 15 seconds, the Power
LED indicator resumes lighting. After the AC power is restored
and lasts for 15 minutes, an AC power restored message, will be
sent to inform the user.
• When Low Battery status is detected and lasts for 15 seconds,
the Battery LED will begin to flash. If Low Battery status lasts for 3
minutes, a Low Battery message will be sent via SMS to alert the
user.
• When the battery voltage is restored for 15 seconds, the Battery
LED turns on again. If the battery voltage restoration lasts for 12
hours, a Battery Restore Message will be sent to inform the user.
• If the Battery is disconnected or switched off for 15 seconds, the
Battery LED indicator will go off. If the Battery is disconnected or
switched off for 3 minutes, a Battery Disconnected message will
be sent via SMS to alert the user.
• When the Battery connection is restored or switched on for 15
seconds, the Battery LED indicator will turn on again. After the
Battery restoration lasts for or 3 minutes, a Battery Disconnected
Restore Message will be sent to inform the user.
