Installation

Your new element room can be installed anywhere with a ceiling height of minimum 2.12m and

ambient temperature not exceeding a mean temperature of 27 ºC. Nevertheless, you must

always take into account the unit’s specifications for air circulation with regard to ceiling height.

1. Floor element

To achieve sufficient air circulation, place the element room on approx. 3 cm high laths. (see

figure 1 next

page). Place floor element on the laths. If no floor element is to be used, place the elements

    direct on the floor.

Cold room door

See installation instructions supplied with door.

2. Wall elements

Ensure elements of same size are installed directly opposite each other. This does not apply

to room D where all elements are the same size. This is to ensure the lock tabs on the side

elements will align with the locks on the ceiling elements.

Before installation, check that the lock tabs engage the lock housing. You will hear a click when

they engage. Fit wall elements and corner pieces together with floor element and lock them

together up top and bottom. For correct locking, turn Allen key approx. 145 °.

NB! The elements

   can creak when locked

. See figure 2. For installation with no floor element, seal between wall

element and floor on both sides to ensure seal. (see figure 1)

3. Installing ceiling

Install ceiling last and lock onto wall elements. If a ceiling for a cold room consists of several

    elements, lock them together first.

4. Cover lock holes with the white plastic plugs supplied.

5. If necessary, seal joints for better seal.

Refrigeration unit

Instructions for installation and use of the unit are supplied with the unit itself.

The refrigeration unit thermostat is preset to approx. 5 ºC. To increase temperature

(warmer) turn thermostat dial anticlockwise. To decrease temperature (colder), turn

the thermostat dial clockwise.

NOTE: Leave the refrigeration unit inactive after installation for approx. 2 hours before

connecting to the mains electricity. This is necessary to allow the oil to recollect in the

compressor after transport and installation.

Connect mains electricity on unit warm side to a 10A earthed mains socket. If the power cable

is not long enough, do not use an extensions cable. Call an electrician to install a 10 A socket

closer to the unit.
