6. DIAGNOSTICS
A warning beep is provided to alert the user to the fact that the car gate is in the
open position. It is necessary to close the car gate in order to respond to a call
to another floor. This beep will be heard any time the car gate is in the open
position AND a hall call is being pressed at a landing other than where the lift
resides. To resolve this issue, close the car gate and then proceed with calling
the lift to the desired floor.
