Key Switch and Power Switch
The stairlift is equipped with a key switch on the bottom of the same arm as the
toggle switch. The unit cannot be operated unless the key is inserted and
turned a quarter turn clockwise to the ON position. Once the key switch is
turned on, flip the ON/OFF main power switch (on the top of the carriage) to
the ON position.
Do NOT turn off the power switch after each trip. Turning off the
power switch stops the batteries from charging and this action
will eventually drain the batteries.
