• ASSEMBLING THE HOOD

 Warning

The hood must be installed in compliance with
all applicable regulations concerning the
ventilation of premises. In France these
regulations are described in DTU 61.1 from the
CSTB. In particular, the evacuated air should
never be conveyed to a duct used to evacuate
smoke from appliances that use gas or other
combustible fuels. Unused ducts may only be
used after approval from a competent
specialist.

 Warning

Three people are required for proper
installation; the unit should be installed by a
qualified operator. Also follow carefully each
step of the assembly instructions, and once
installation has been completed, make sure
that the hood is firmly secured in place.

The distance between the supporting surface for
the cooking vessels on the hob and the lower part
of the hood must be at least 650 mm. If the
instructions for installation for the hob specify a
greater distance, this has to be taken into account.

- Using the special drilling template, drill the holes
for fixing to the ceiling on the vertical side of your
hob. Carefully observe all the indications for final
positioning of the apparatus. Take into account
that one of the template axes must correspond to
the axis of the hood controls.
- Fix the bracket to the ceiling using the screws
and screw anchors provided (Fig. 3). Be careful,
because the position of the bracket determines
the final position of the apparatus: the side with
the slot B corresponds to the side opposite the
controls. Fit the electrical system plate, securing it
with 2 screws and 3 washers (Fig.4).

• Ducting mode

- Secure the telescopic structure to the bracket
using 4 screws (provided), passing the air exhaust
pipe inside the telescopic structure and running
the power cable through the hole in the bracket
(Fig. 5).
