Tip

For optimal use of your appliance, we

recommend that you connect the hood to a
125 mm-diameter flue (not delivered with the
appliance). Minimise the number of angles
and bends and the lengths of the flue. In
the event that the hood will be operated
using out-door evacuation, you should
ensure a sufficient inflow of fresh air to
avoid a pressure deficiency in the room.

- The 2 openings, A and B (Fig 4) on your hood must not be closed, because the air is returned
through the appliance through the vents on the front.
- You can now attach your hood; depending on your needs, you can attach your hood to the wall or
under your kitchen cabinet.

Wall attachment:
- Before attaching the hood to the wall, check the position of the electrical socket and consider where
the electrical wire is to run (you may need to make a hole in your cabinet to pass the wire through).
- Draw a line on the wall, vertical to the plane of the cooker.
- Mark the 4 holes you need to drill in the wall, as per the measurements given in Fig. 8; drill the holes
and insert the 4 dowels (supplied).
- Take 2 of the supplied screws (Fig. 11) and align them in the top dowels, but do not screw them in
completely.
- Place the hood close to the wall and hang it on the 2 screws; from the inside of the hood, screw the
2 screws in completely. Attach the hood by inserting the other 2 screws H (Fig. 10).
- Make the electrical connections.

Attaching under a kitchen cabinet:
- Before attaching the hood to a cabinet, check the position of the electrical socket and consider
where the electrical wire is to run (you may need to make a hole in your cabinet to pass the wire
through).
- Drill 4 holes in the kitchen cabinet, as per the measurements given in Fig. 11.
- Place the hood close to the cabinet and insert 4 screws through the inside of the cabinet.
- Make the electrical connections.
