A jump of the display to the highest value of the scale means that the received signal for the SAT
finder is too large. In this case, the sensitivity of the SAT finder must be reduced by turning the
Button "-6 / +6" counterclockwise. If this is not sufficient for regulation in a medium display range,
because a high-performance LNB is used (gain> 60 dB) or the SAT antenna is larger than 90 cm,
a damping controller (ideal: 0 - 20 dB level control) should be used LNB and SAT Finder are switched.
If there is no SAT receiver available for adjusting the antenna, an external DC voltage source
(12-18 volt DC power supply) must be used to power the SAT finder. The power supply is connected
to the socket "TO REC" of the SAT finder with an F-plug.
The Sat Finder has 2 LEDs on the front to indicate:
A) 22 kHz LED shines: 22 Khz signal is sent by the receiver. This signal is used to switch some
LNB's to the "high band" signal.
B) H/V LED shines: receiver switches the LNB polarization from horizontal to vertical with
the 13/18 V switching voltage.
