SATEL
VERSA Plus LTE
81
In the case of SMS reporting, the control panel gets no acknowledgement of receiving
the event codes by the monitoring station, hence this transmission path should be
used as the last one.
The switch-over from one SIM card to the other one requires time (for example, to log
onto the network), so it is better to use up all the transmission paths available for one
SIM card.
The switch-over from one SIM card to the other is affected by the L
OCK TIME
and
R
ETURN TIME
parameters (see: “LTE module” p. 53).
Programming the order of transmission paths (DLOADX program)
1. Click on the “GSM/ETHM reporting” tab, “VERSA – Reporting” window.
2. Click on the “Add” button. The list with all transmission paths will be displayed.
3. Click on the transmission path you want to add.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add next transmission paths.
5. If you want to change the order of transmission paths on the list, use the
and
buttons to do so.
Telephone numbers
GSM reporting
– phone number of the monitoring station for reporting via GSM voice
channel.
SMS reporting
– phone number of the monitoring station for reporting by means of SMS
messages.
SMS format
SMS format for reporting by means of SMS messages. It must be defined as required by the
monitoring station. The SMS message format, preset by default in the control panel,
corresponds to the default settings of the STAM-2 monitoring station (firmware version 1.2.0
or newer) for the Contact ID format. When programming the SMS message format, you
should keep in mind that only event code and identifier will be sent for formats other than
Contact ID.
11.4 SIA-IP
11.4.1 Monitoring station 1 / Monitoring station 2
IP format
– if the event codes are to be sent via Ethernet or cellular data network, specify
whether SATEL format or SIA-IP format (SIA DC-09 standard) will be used.
Protocol
– if the event codes are to be sent via Ethernet or cellular data network, specify
whether TCP or UDP protocol will be used.
Options
– options related to SIA-IP format:
Send MAC address
– if this option is enabled, the MAC address is sent with event code.
Send timestamp
– if this option is enabled, the date and time are sent with event code
(the monitoring station can change the date and time in the control panel).
Encrypt data
– if the option is enabled, the data being sent are encrypted, and the date
and time are sent with event code (the monitoring station can change the date and time
in the control panel).
SIA-IP key
– the key to encrypt data to be sent using the SIA-IP format.
