4. Description
The belt is part of the breathing protection apparatus. It holds the air regu-
lator and the optional breathing air humidifier, air warmer and air cooler. It
consists of the main parts:
■ Fabric belt
[2-1]
■ Buckle [2-4]
■ Two padded adapter plates [2-3] , [2-5]
■ Belt loop for breathing air hose [2-7]
5. Scope of Delivery
■ SATA air regulator belt plus with loop for breathing air hose, adjustable
buckle, two adapter plates with padding and a Protect safety cap

8. First Use
The carrying strap is delivered in an assembled and operationally ready
state.
Check after unpacking:
■ Carrying strap damaged.
■ Scope of supply complete (see chapter 5).
8.1. Ensure operational readiness of carrying strap.
Notice!
The belt should be adapted to the PPE. Wear protective overall when
adjusting the belt width.
■ Adjust width on the belt clasp.
■ Put on and close carrying strap.
■ Check and possibly correct the width.
■ Check and possibly correct the position of the padded adapter plates.
