Using the wing mounting hardware, temporarily
mount the wing to the fuselage. Place the wing
bolt reinforcement plate in position without
adhesive.
}}}}
Make sure that the wing is centered and square
by measuring from both wingtips to a central
point in the tail. If the measurements are not
equal it will be easier to make any slight
adjustments now than after the wing bolt
reinforcement plate is bonded to the wing. You
can make alignment adjustments by modifying
the holes in the wing with a thin needle file.
Dry assemble wing and measure for squareness
}}}}
Once you are happy with the wing placement,
mark the location of the wing bolt reinforcement
plate. This will guide you later when trimming
away the covering from the balsa sheeting.

Before you remove the wing from the fuselage
fit the belly pan in place. This will insure you
have a good fit and will allow you to mark the
location where you will remove the covering for
bonding the belly pan.
}}}}
Trim the belly pan to about 3/16” from the end
of the curve. You want to keep the ends of the
belly pan closed to keep some of the rigidity of
the belly pan so cut the ends straight across.
Trim belly pan, leave part of the flat area for
bonding
}}}}
Place the belly pan in position and make any
required adjustments.
Dry fit belly pan and mark the edges
