Accessing the Security Menu
All of your phone’s security settings are available through the
Security menu. You must enter your lock code to view the
Security menu.
1.
Select
> Settings > More... > Security
.
2.
Enter your lock code.
Tip:
If you never changed the lock code number and you cannot recall
your lock code, try using the last four digits of your phone number.
Using Your Phone’s Lock Features
Locking Your Phone
When your phone is locked, you can only make calls to 111,
Customer Service, and to special numbers without entering the
lock code.
1.
From the Security menu display, select
Lock My Phone
.
2.
Select
Lock Now
or
On Power-up
:
Lock Now
to lock your phone now.
On Power-up
to lock your phone the next time it is
turned on.
3.
Select either
Full Lock
or
Exp. IncomingCalls
:
Full Lock
to restrict both outgoing and incoming calls.
Exp. IncomingCalls
to restrict outgoing calls while
allowing incoming calls.
Unlocking Your Phone
1.
From standby mode, press
Unlock
(left softkey).
2.
Enter your lock code.
Changing the Lock Code
1.
From the Security menu display, select
Change LockCode
.
2.
Enter and re-enter a new lock code.
