Creating Folders for Messages
You can create up to ten folders to store your messages.
When ten of your defined folders exist, the Create Folder
option will not appear.
To create a new folder:
1.
Select
> Messaging >Text
.
2.
Press
Options
(right softkey)
> Create Folder
.
3.
Enter a folder name and press .
4.
Press
Save
(left softkey).
To set an optional feature for the added folder:
1.
During step 3 above, scroll down to select other menu
options:
n
Auto Filing
to file messages into the folder automatically.
The following options appear when this feature is set to
On
.
n
Keyword
to set a keyword for Auto Filing. Enter a
keyword and press .
n
Notify
to set the notification display to
On
or
Off
when
you have an unread message matching the defined
folder.
n
Envelope Icon
to set the envelope icon display to
On
or
Off
when you have an unread message matching the
defined folder.
2.
Press
Save
(left softkey).
Locking and Unlocking Messages
The Inbox and your defined folders combined can contain up
to 200 messages in total and the oldest messages will
automatically be deleted once the capacity is full. You can lock
up to 40 messages in order to avoid this automatic deletion.
A key icon appears for locked messages.
1.
Select
> Messaging > Text
.
2.
Select
Inbox
or your defined folders.
3.
Highlight the message you want to lock or unlock and press
Options
(right softkey)
> Lock
or
Unlock
.
