Section 2A: Phone Basics
In-Call Options
Selecting
Options
(right softkey) during a call displays a list of
features you may use during the course of a call. To select an
option, press the corresponding keypad number or highlight
the option and press
. The following options are available
through the Options menu:
v
Flash
to answer an incoming Call Waiting call or to connect
a third party during Three-Way Calling.
v
Mute
or
Unmute
to mute or reactivate your phone’s
microphone.
v
Transfer Audio
to switch the call to an external device (if
applicable).
v
Speaker On
or
Speaker Off
to activate or deactivate
speakerphone mode.
v
Three -Way Call
to call a thirdparty.
v
Missed Alerts
to display missed notifications.
v
Call History
to access the Call History menu. (See “Managing
Call History”on page 101.)
v
Contacts
to access the Contacts menu. (See “Using Contacts”
on page 107.)
v
Messaging
to access the Messaging menu. (See “Accessing
Messaging”on page221.)
v
Tools
to access the Tools menu. (See “Using the Phone’s
Calendar and Tools”on page 118.)
v
Settings
to access the Settings menu. (See “Controlling Your
Phone’s Settings”on page 49.)
Note:
The
Flash
menu appears only for Call Waiting and Three-Way
Calling. The Three-Way Call menu does not appear in
Roaming areas.
WARNING
Because of higher volume levels,do not place the phone
near your ear during speakerphone use.
