must be completed within 25 minutes.
CAUTION:
When adjusting the optical components, do not insert any materials into the
optical block for blocking the light. Or the optical block may be damaged by
overheating or scratching the parts.
To select the internal test pattern

Press the MENU button.

Select the "Test pattern" from the "Setting" menu.

Press the SELECT button. The test pattern menu ap-
pears on the screen.

Select a pattern name and press SELECT button.
To cancel the test pattern, press any of the buttons.

Each adjustment requires hex wrenches and slot screwdrivers.

Set the lens position specified below with Lens Shift Button.
Horizontal Lens Position: Center
Vertical Lens Position: End of the bottom

When adjusting optical components adjustments, using
Standard Zoom Lens is recommended.

When adjusting the optical axis adjustment, follow the
following procedure.
a) Disconnect the three flexible cables of the LCD panels
from the main board. (Do not touch the electrode of
flexible cables.)
b) Do not disconnect the sockets on the main board oth-
erwise the power protection function will operate to
shutdown the projector.

These adjustments should be taken in the dark room to
adjust precisely.
CAUTION: Do not short main board with the chassis.
Protect main board with necessary isolation
materials from shorting.
