SANY

4. Route the drain hose (5) into a suitable container. Open

the drain valve (4) and drain the filter housing
completely.

5. Close and hand-tighten the drain valve.

6. Remove the filter housing (2) and filter element (3)

from the filter housing.

7. Clean the filter housing with clean fuel.

8. Replace the filter element and make sure it is securely

seated within the filter housing and fill the filter
housing with clean fuel.

9. Install the filter housing and turn the fuel shutoff valve (1) 1/4 turn clockwise to the ON position.

10. Bleed trapped air from the fuel system. See “Bleed the Fuel System” on page

5-39.

11. Start the engine and check for leaks.
