• Careless handling, i.e. using the pad while it is bent or folded,
using the pad without the original cover, applying pressure
to the pad (e.g. by sitting on it) and pulling or twisting the
power cord may damage the heating pad.
• CAUTION! In the case of any irregularities, pull the power
plug immediately!
• Do not place heavy objects on the pad and never store it
with sharp creases. Otherwise the pad may be damaged.
• Do not insert pins or any sharp objects into the heating pad.
• This appliance should always be examined before use for
any signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs or
if the appliance has been misused, please contact the
manufacturer or authorised agent prior to any further use.
• The switch may grow hot during operation and must
therefore not be covered or placed on the heating pad.
• If you do not intend to use the heating pad immediately, we
recommend that you store the pad in a cool, dry place. Do
not fold the pad.
• When not in use, allow the pad to cool down before folding.
• If you detect a defect in your sanowell heating pad, or if you
have dropped the pad in water, pull the power plug out of
the power outlet immediately. Do not touch the heating pad
until the power circuit has been interrupted!
• The heating pad must be returned to the manufacturer or its
agent if the thermal link has ruptured.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualifi ed persons
in order to avoid any hazard.
• Your sanowell heating pad may only be repaired and opened
by an expert authorized by hofmann gmbh, otherwise the
guarantee will expire.
