5. Trouble shooting

The engine does not
start
Incorrect throttle position
Spark plug cap defective
Fuel tank empty
Fuel flow valve closed
Ignition malfunction
Select the correct setting
Replace the spark plug cap
Fill fuel tank
Open the fuel valve
Contact a SANLI approved

The engine engages,
but starting is difficult
Operator control lever not
properly engaged
Engine oil too viscous for
operating conditions
Press fully the lever operator
Change the oil
The transmission drive
operates but loses
efficiency
The transmission
engagement cable is loose
The drive V-belt is loose
Adjust the cable using the
tensioning device

The engine becomes
excessively hot
