
Upon receipt, check the integrity of the device and its parts. If you find any damage, shortcomings,
deformations or visible traces of impacts due to transport, promptly notify the manufacturer before
proceeding with the subsequent operations.
INTENDED USE AND UNINTENDED USE OF THE DEVICE
The device is intended for indoor use, sheltered from bad weather, indoors. The only intended
purpose for the device in question is the sanitization of indoor environments, with or without the
presence of people and animals. It is intended to be used in safe conditions and always under the
watchful control of an adult. Failure to comply, even partially, with the provisions of this document
may cause device malfunctions or cause it to break.
The device is intended to be powered at 230Vac, 50 / 60Hz.
You must not use this device in an unreasonable, senseless or dangerous manner. It is also not
allowed to use the device through adapters, multi-sockets, extensions, timers or timers, flying or
defective sockets, or with power lines other than those specified.
The reuse of the device or any of its components, in a different way from what is foreseen or after the
decommissioning of the device itself, relieves the manufacturer of any liability that could derive from
it.
RISKS FOR THE OPERATOR
The device is designed, built and tested to meet all specific standards, when configured in a
workmanlike manner. If the configuration, use and maintenance of the device are not carried out with
skill and in compliance with the provisions of the rules and this manual, anomalies may occur during
use and safety risks.
Always observe the general accident prevention and safety regulations when starting up. In
particular:
•
During each operation make sure that the device is not connected to the mains;
•
Do not touch the device connected to the network with bare and / or wet hands and feet;
•
Do not plug the device into the electrical outlet when still packed. Completely remove any
packaging residue.
Already in the design phase, solutions were adopted aimed at making the use of the device safe
in all phases of use. However, not all possible risks for operators and the environment have been
eliminated; both for technological reasons (reliability of the devices) and for management reasons
(excessive difficulty of elimination). Always follow the instructions.
GENERAL WARNINGS AND PROHIBITIONS
Check that the electrical network to which the device will be connected complies with the essential
safety requirements in force in the area and that a residual current protecyive device is present.
The connection cables must never come into contact with water or splashes. They must not be
buried, walled up or hidden behind curtains or under carpets, nor must they be positioned in such
a way as to jeopardize their conservation or favor their damage, even accidental. Cables and device
must not be in the way of people and animals. They must not be placed on the floor but placed
in special channels and remain open for inspection for the entire life cycle of the device. Under no
circumstances may the power cable be pulled, cut, twisted, crushed, knotted, buried or walled up.
Never carry the device by the power cord or unplug it from the socket by pulling on the cord.
The following is prescribed:
•
Never cover the unit. Do not insert objects into the fan openings, risk of shock;
•
The device must be firmly fixed to the wall, with the diffuser downwards. It must not be
mounted on furniture or furnishings;
•
Always direct the air flow towards the center of the room and do not stay too long in the
immediate vicinity of the diffuser nozzle;
•
The device must always remain dry. Do not get wet, do not expose to bad weather, do
not immerse the unit, protect from splashes and steam. If the unit gets wet, stop using it
immediately and do not connect to the mains;
•
Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources and incandescent elements. Keep away from
naked flames and flammable materials. Do not use the device in places with the presence of
combustible or explosive gases;
•
Do not spray spray products on the device, neither when switched off nor when switched on;
•
Before carrying out any operation, turn off the device and disconnect the plug. Before
disconnecting the plug, the device must be turned off using the appropriate switch on the back;
•
If any abnormal situation, bad smell or other problem occurs, stop the operation immediately
and disconnect the plug. Contact your dealer or manufacturer;
•
Do not insert objects of any kind into the air outlet vents;
•
Do not use in unsafe conditions. Keep out of the reach of pets;
•
The device must not be disassembled and no structural or functional modification of the
mechanism is allowed. Any modification can be dangerous and no original parts can be
replaced. Make sure that children do not play with the device;
•
Do not tamper with. It is forbidden to disconnect components, modify their connections or alter
the shape of the device. Under no circumstances is it allowed to place weights, climb or sit on
the device. Do not drill the device in any point;
•
In the event that the external structure of the device has sharp edges or edges following an
accidental impact, such as to make it potentially dangerous, it is necessary to contact the
retailer or the manufacturer and follow any instructions;
•
Do not connect multiple devices together. It is not allowed to electrically connect this device to
another household appliance, nor is it allowed to connect to automatic igniters;
•
Do not fix the plug using adhesive tape. The use of insulating tape for repairs of the power
cord, plug or electrical socket is not allowed;
•
Periodically it is necessary to submit the device to a technical check to ensure its safe use.
The remote control works with a CR2025 battery included in the same. Before using it, remove the
protective tab. In the event of a battery leak, do not allow it to come into contact with clothing or skin.
If this happens, wash immediately with water. Misuse of the battery can cause it to leak, overheat,
or explode. This liquid is corrosive and toxic. Do not heat, open, puncture, cut or throw the battery
into fire. Dispose of the battery at the appropriate collection points. Use only suitable batteries of the
same size and type. Before inserting the new battery, carefully clean the battery compartment with
a soft, dry cloth. Do not reverse the polarity of the battery. Remove it from the remote control if it will
not be used for a long time. Always keep out of the reach of children.
INSTALLATION
To avoid dangers, the installation must be carried out by specialized personnel or by people who
are able to perform the required operations, only after having carefully read and understood this
document in its entirety.
Before proceeding with the installation, always check that the various parts of the system do not
show physical damage due to bumps, tears or abrasions. Check in particular that:

There are no signs or dents indicative of impacts occurred during transport;
