4. MAINTENANCE
• Before carrying out any maintenance work, make sure that the device has been disconnected from the mains and let the
heater cool down for a few minutes.
• Periodically, to prevent an accumulation of dust, clean the inlet and outlet air (Fig 1F-A) with a damp cloth or a vacuum
cleaner. Never use petrol or aggressive and/or abrasive dissolvents to clean the device.
• Do not immerse the device or spray with water.
• If the appliance is not to be used for any length of time, we recommend returning it to its original package and storing it
in a dry, dust-free place.
5. RELEVANT INFORMATION FOR THE DISMANTLING, RECYCLING OR ELIMINATION OF THE PRODUCT
AT THE END OF THE USEFUL LIFE
In the case of scrapping the appliance, the provisions corresponding to the disposal or recycling of the materials and com-
ponents must be respected.
List of the main heater materials:
• Electric cables.
• External covers of Plastic ABS PC PP PA POM.
• Heating element (mica).
• Protective grid (steel).
• Motor (steel, aluminum and copper).
6. PUTTING OUT OF SERVICE AND RECYCLING
EEC legislation and our consideration of future generations mean that we should always recycle materials
where possible; please do not forget to deposit all packaging in the appropriate recycling bins. If your device
is also labeled with this symbol, please take it to the nearest Waste Management Plant at the end of its ser-
vicable life.
