Rotating heat exchanger
A rotating (wheel) allows transferring the energy between the extracted air and fresh airflows which
traverse it in the reverse direction. It consists of an accumulator material made of aluminium, a drive belt,
a motor with a supporting structure and airtight devices to limit air leaks between the 2 flows.
A bleed sector allows flushing stale air present in the “honeycombs” before the wheel passes in front of
the fresh airflow.
