Installation
(f) With the switch in the fully
Closed
position,
verify the minimum clearances between the
blade shunt contact and the interrupter,
mea sured to the interrupter housing as well
as the interrupter skirts. See Figure 33.
(g) Move the blade in the
opening
direction and
verify each blade shunt contact fi rmly
engages its respective interrupter contact
rivets before the blade contacts disengage
from the stationary main contact assemblies.
See Figure 34. The shunt contacts may be
bent as required to conform to these
conditions.
If any of the conditions described in this
step cannot be achieved, contact the nearest
S&C Sales Office because damage likely was
sustained during shipment.
