4 Troubleshooting
4.1 The FireWire card was not found during
startup
1. Check that the card is correctly located in the
PCI port.
2. Try to connect the internal power to the power
socket on the FireWire card.
3. Move the FireWire card to another PCI port.
4.2 The FireWire card does not register that a
FireWire device has been connected
1. Not all FireWire devices are registered in the
same way as normal hardware. Look in the
manual for the FireWire equipment and see
how it must be installed.
2. Try to connect the internal power to the power
socket on the FireWire card.
