Introduction
The Sandberg USB to Bluetooth
®
Class 1
Link, referred to as “the adapter”, enables
you to communicate wirelessly with
Bluetooth
®
-compatible devices. It allows
you to transfer data wirelessly at distances
of up to 100 metres. The maximum data
transfer speed is 1 Mbit/s, and up to 7
wireless devices can be connected at the
same time.
Bluetooth
®
is built into many devices. Mobile
phones, PDAs and printers are just a few of
the many devices with built-in Bluetooth
®
support.

Do not connect the adapter to your
computer yet!
1. Start Windows and insert the enclosed
CD-ROM.
2. The setup program launches. Click
“Generic 1.4.3.4”
.
3. Click
“Next”
. Select
“I accept the
terms and conditions…”
. Click
“Next”
, then
“Next”
again.
4. Click
“Install”
.
5. The dialog box
“No Bluetooth
device…”
appears. Insert the adapter
into your computer’s USB port and click
“OK”
.
6. Click
“Finish”
.
7. Click
“Yes”
when prompted to
“…restart
your system…”
.
8. Your computer will restart.
NB:
When installation is complete, you will
have one Bluetooth
®
icon on your desktop
and one in your system tray.
The adapter is now installed and ready for
use.
