7. Connect the power, and check to see if the player works properly.
- Copy the supplied YP_W3.rom file on to the removable disk.
(1) You have to copy the file to root directory. If you copy the file to another directory other than root directory,
you will not be able to perform the upgrade.
(2) To upgrade the font file together, copy the font file on to the removable disk.
(ypw3font.sys)
(3) When you turn the player on, clock appears on the screen --> Press and hold the MENU button until the
Upgrade message appears on then screen so as to perform the upgrade.
(4) "Please wait For Upgrading" message appears on the screen.
(5) When the upgrade is complete, the player will automatically be turned off.
8. You can confirm the upgraded firmware version by pressing the MENU button.
(1) Press the MENU button and select Settings --> System Information to view the firmware version.
Upgrading the firmware using the PC program (Follow the procedures below, only when the internal
firmware has been damaged)
(1) Short R6 / R53 and connect the unit to the PC.
(2) Use the TCC7xx_FW_DN program.
At this time, TCC72X_Non_UMS_Driver should be installed in advance.
(You can identify whether the driver has been installed in Device Manager)
Press and hold
the MENU button
until the Upgrade
message appears.
