5) Click Download and check the progress bar both on the PC screen and on the LCD of the player.
6) When the above message appears, maintain the USB connection for 1 to 3 minutes until the
“USB Connected” message appears on the player LCD. When it appears, check if there is a
“Removable Disk” in My Computer..
7) Move the YP-U3.RSC and YP-U3.SET files to the System folder of the player, while it is
connected to the PC, to update the firmware. After that, disconnect the player from the PC,
reboot the player and check if it works properly.
(At this time, if you cannot find the System folder, select My Computer-Tools-Folder Options-View,
select the "Show hidden files and folders" and "Show system folder” options and recheck.)
<Tip>
If you reset the player during an upgrade or a compulsory upgrade, the player may enter the
DFU upgrade status (LED is ON). At this time, if you connect the player to the PC, the player is
automatically connected in DFU upgrade mode.
