4. Alignment and Troubleshooting

Thermistor Short test : After unplugging the fuser connector, connect the shrot jig. If the U1–2340 error
occurs, the main board is normal. If not, replace the main board.

4) Check the thermostat, thermistor, heater. If the mesured resistance value is abnormal, replace the fuser unit.

Thermostat test : Measure the resistance for both terminals of the thermostat.
