2. DSP/MICOM Flash update
1) To copy files to the SD/MMC card ( In windows 2000 or XP )

The NIKE.bin or Micom.bin is copied in the uppermost folder of the SDHC/MMC+ card irrespective of the
model type ( NTSC or PAL).

Insert the SDHC/MMC+ card to the camcorder.
2) How to update
[Step 1]
q
Turn the camcorder on.
w
"Change storage to card?"
e
Press the OK button in "YES"..
[Step 2]
q
Update NIKE F/W? or Update MICOM F/W?
w
Press the OK button in "YES"..
[Step 3]
q
If the OSD displays "5.Update is OK!" on the monitor , Update is successful.
3) Troubleshooting
a) When the SDHC/MMC+ fails to be recognized.

Remove the SDHC/MMC+ and turn the power off and on.

Insert the SDHC/MMC+ card and change the mode to the external memory mode.

Go on from the 2) in [STEP 2].
b) When it fails to copy the files.

When the file name is incorrect - nike.bin or Micom.bin
w
When the SDHC/MMC+ card is removed from the PC before the file copy process is completed.
- Please make sure that the message to notify that the removal is allowed comes up on the
monitor before trying detachment.
Note : "EEPROM all initial" should be performed at the presence of controlling unit against the possibility of whole
setting is being default.
