FAQ / Trouble Shooting
This guide is intended to answer common questions and assist with minor troubleshooting. More
detailed information can be found in the Samsung Portable SSD T1 user manual.
Initial Use (PC)

The T1 is not recognized on my computer.

Check if the USB port is connected correctly.

Try connecting to other USB ports as some USB ports do not work because of the PC status.
If the recognition problem continues after connecting correctly, please contact the Samsung Service
Center provided in the user manual

The capacity of the T1 is displayed as 128MB.
When first getting started, the T1 is configured to only display the "T1_SETUP" drive (Windows 7,
128MB) storage space. Once the activation process is completed, you will see the full capacity of your
T1.
For step-by-step instructions to run the activation software, refer to the "Activation" section of the T1
user manual.

When I connect the T1 for the first time, there are files already stored.
Files shown when you first connect the T1 are the activation software files. Once you complete the
activation process you will be able to see and access the full T1 capacity. Please refer to the
"Activation" section in the user manual for details.
4.
Files in the T1 do not run on my PC.
The activation software of the T1 has minimum OS requirements. To use the T1, your PC must be at
least:
- Windows OS : Windows 7 or above
- Mac OS : Mac OS X 10.7 or above
