Text Messages
Create New
Using your phone you can send text messages to other mobile
phones in North America and the rest of the world, depending on
your carrier.
To send a message:
1.
Press the left softkey
for
MENU

2.
Press
for
Messaging
.
3.
Press
for
Text
.
4.
Press
for
Send New.
5.
Enter the phone number of the person to whom you’re
sending a message. When you are finished,
press
.

To enter a phone number, enter the number.
•
To send the message to one of your contacts, press the
left softkey
followed by
for
Contacts
.
Highlight
the desired contact and press
. The Contact is
displayed. Press the left softkey
for
Select
.

You can send your message to multiple numbers. Use the
navigation keys to move up and down your list of
addresses. You can send a message to a maximum of 10
numbers.
6.
Create your message using the keypad. To change the text
entry mode or to add Quick Text, press the left softkey
for
Options
. For more information on entering text, see
"Entering Text" on page 20. When you are finished creating
your message, press
