Settings
Security
The Security screen allows you to lock your phone and camera, erase
contacts, set restrictions, and other security options.
To access the Security option settings:
1. Press the left soft key
for
Menu
.
2. Press

Settings
.
3. Press

System
.
4. Press

Security
.
5. Enter the lock code. The factory settings are the last four
digits of your telephone number. Select one of the following
options:
•
Lock Phone
: restricts the use of the phone by
engaging the lock. Select
Unlocked
,
On Power-Up
, or
Lock Now
.
•
Lock Camera
: restricts the use of the phone’s built-in
camera. Select
On
or
Off
.
•
Lock Camcorder
: restricts the use of the phone’s
built-in camcorder. Select
On
or
Off
.
•
Change Lock
: changes the lock code for your phone.
Enter the new number and press the left soft key
for
Next
. You will be asked to confirm the new number. After
you re-enter the lock code, press the left soft key
for
Done
.
•
Special #
: allows you to enter special phone
numbers which can be called even if the phone is locked.
Select one of the slots and press the left soft key
for
Select
. Type in the new number and press
to save.
