Performance enhancer
Enhance the device’s performance by setting apps to be put to sleep after a certain period of
time of not using them.
On the Settings screen, tap
Smart Manager
→
Performance enhancer
. Then, tap
Enhance
phone performance
switch to activate it.
To add app exceptions, tap
→
Add app exceptions
to select apps that can run in the
background.
Lock screen and security
Options
Change the settings for the locked screen.
On the Settings screen, tap
Lock screen and security
.
The available options may vary depending on the screen lock method selected.

Google Play Protect
: Set the device to check for harmful apps and behaviour and warn
about potential harm and remove them.

Find My Device
: Activate or deactivate the Find My Device feature. Access the Find My
Mobile website (
findmymobile.samsung.com
) to track and control your lost or stolen
device.
You can also allow the Google location service to provide more accurate information
about the location of your device.

Security update
: Update your device’s software via the firmware over-the-air (FOTA)
service. You can also schedule software updates.

Secure startup
: Protect your device by setting it to require a screen unlock code when
turning on the device. You must enter the unlock code to start the device and receive
messages and notifications.
