DETECT AREA : Motion Detection and

MASK AREA : Specify a detection
exception area to mask.

number and specify the

AREA : You can select up to 4 areas.

MODE : Determines whether to use
the area selected in the AREA.

TOP / BOTTOM / LEFT / RIGHT :
Adjust the size and position of the selected area.
SENSITIVITY : Set the sensitivity of the motion detection. When you adjust
the lower level, the more sensitive.
DET. SIZE : Selects an object size to detect on the screen. When you adjust
higher levels, the more larger size.
RETURN : Return to the SPECIAL menu.
Tips on Using the Motion Detection Feature
• The feature may not function properly under fl ickering light conditions.
• The camera interprets sudden changes in lighting and subsequent change in
brightness of an object as motion.
• With the feature enabled, other algorithms may require additional time to operate.
• This system does not guarantee prevention of fi re or theft. The manufacturer shall
not be held responsible for any accident or damage incurred.
