Selecting an effect
1.
Set the power switch to CAMERAmode and LOCK/STANDBYswitch to STANDBY mode.
2. Press the MENU ON/OFF button, the MENU list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU dial to DSE SELECT.
4. Press ENTER.
- The DSE setting is now possible.
5. Turn the MENU dial to the desired DSE effect.
6. Press ENTER.

The selected DSE effect will now be visible in the Viewfinder.

After selecting MAKE-UP, STROBE or LSS press ENTER,
- in MAKE-UP mode, the MENU list for selecting RED/YEL-
LOW/GREEN/BLUE will appear.
- in STROBE mode, the MENU list for selecting 30 fields(1)/
15 fields(2)/ 8 fields(3) will appear.
- in LSS mode, the MENU list for selecting 1/30(1), 1/15(2), 1/8(3) will appear.
Select the shutter speed and press ENTER.

To change the content of the selection, place the cursor on the corresponding position by turning
the MENU dial and press ENTER again.
7. To end the setting, press the MENU ON/OFF button.
Recording DSE in CAMERA mode
1.
Set the power switch to CAMERAmode and LOCK/STANDBY
switch to STANDBY mode.
2.
Press the START/STOP button.

Recording starts.
3. Press the DSE button during recording to record an effect you have
s e l e c t e d .

The effect you have selected will appear.
4.
To return to normal, press the DSE button again.
