Options during a call
Your phone provides a number of functions that you
can use during a call.
Using the In-call options
Press the
Menu
soft key during a call to access the
following options:
Mute/Quit
: allows you to switch off your phone’s
microphone, so that the other person cannot hear
you.
Example: You wish to say something to another
person in the room, but do not want the other
person to hear you.

: allows you to access the
Calls
menu (
Menu

Phonebook
: allows you to access the
Phonebook
menu (
Menu 2
). See page 85.
Silent/Quit
: does not transmit the DTMF (Dual-
Tone Multi-Frequency) tones of the keys. It allows
you to press keys without hearing annoying key
tones during a call.
Send my

: sends your phone number to the
calling person or automated services.
DTMF length
: manipulates the audible DTMF
tones. You can choose either
Long
or
Normal
.
Noise cancellation
: activates or deactivates the
noise cancellation feature. This feature removes
noise from your surroundings so that the other
person on the phone can hear you more clearly.
Note
: You can quickly activate or deactivate this
feature by pressing the MP3 key during a call.
