Add Entry
MENU 1-4
This menu option allows you to add a new name
entry.
Create a new entry by following from Step 3 in
“Saving a Number with a Name in the Phonebook”
on page 26.
Name Ringer
MENU 1-5
If the caller line identification service is available,
you can set the phone to alert you to an incoming
call from a specific person by using a distinctive icon
and ringer.
Setting a Special Ringer for a Number
1. Select
Set Number
and press .
2. Select a number from the phonebook list using the
navigation keys and press .
3. Select the category of the ring by pressing or
and press .
4. Select the bell or melody by pressing or
and press .
5. Select the type of icon from
Animal Icon
,
Human
Icon
or
Others
, and then press .
6. Scroll to one of the icons by pressing the
navigation keys and press to save the setting.
Changing the Special Ringer Settings
1. Select
Edit Number
and press .
2. Select the number and press . The display
shows the ringer and the icon you have set.
3. Press and select one from the following
options.
•
Change Setup
: allows you to change the ringer
and icon.
•
Delete Number
: cancels the ringer setting.
4. After changing or deleting, press or to
exit.
Viewing the Available Icons
1. Select
Icon List
and press .
2. Select an icon type of and press .
3. Use the navigation keys to scroll through the icon
list.
