Creating partitions in SMC 

 
Terminal executing minicom enable host PC user to work inside target board. Now create three 

partitions in SMC inside Minicom terminal. 
 
# ./imagewrite /dev/mtd/0 -part 0 192K 2M

Divide SMC to three partitions, and the size of each partition is as follows: 

 
Vivi Bootloader  

:  0~192KB  

Kernel Image   

: 192KB~2MB  

root_qtopia.cramfs :

write ‘vivi’ at ‘0~192KB’ partition, ‘zImage’ at ‘192KB~2MB’ partition, and ‘root_qtopia.cramfs’ at 

‘2MB~End-part’ partition.
