Display Settings

Auto-Hyphen
Auto-Hyphen automatically hyphenates phone
numbers as they are entered.
Example: If you enter “5804370000” with Auto-Hyphen set to Yes , “ 580-
437-0000 ” appears in the display.
1. In standby mode, press the MENU (left) soft key ( ),
then press (for Setup ) and (for Display ), and
for Auto-Hyphen . The following options appear in
the display:

2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired setting.
3. Press the key to save the setting.
Dial Digits
Dial Digits adjust the color of numbers as they are
entered into the display when making a call.
1. In standby mode, press the MENU (left) soft key ( ),
then press (for Setup ) and (for Display ), and
for Dial Digits . The following options appear in the
display:

Hyphenated — Sets of digits divided by hyphens (area code,
exchange, and so on) appear in a different color.
䢇
Rainbow — Each digit appears in a different color.
䢇
Basic — All Dial Digits are black.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired setting,
then press the
key to save the setting.
