Drafts
Messages in the Drafts folder are those that have been
composed but never sent. You can return to the Drafts
folder at any time to view, edit, send, or delete a draft
message.
1. In standby mode, do one of the following:

Press the Down navigation key (Messages shortcut).
䢇
Press the MENU (left) soft key ( ), then press (for
Messages ).
2. Press (for Drafts ). A list of your draft messages
appears in the display.
3. Use the navigation keys to highlight a draft message.
4. To delete or lock a draft message, do the following:

Press the Options (left) soft key ( ), the following options
appear in the display:
ⳮ
Erase — Erase the message.
ⳮ
Lock / Unlock — Block or permit erasure of the message.
䢇
Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired option.
䢇
Press the key to perform the function for the highlighted
option.
5. To view or edit the draft message, the press the key.
The Message screen containing the draft message
appears in the display.
6. Edit the text for your message using the keypad. (See
“Section 5: Entering Text” on page 65 for more
information.)
7. At any point while editing the message, press the Option
(left) soft key ( ). The following options appear in the
display:
