PROGRAMMED MESSAGES
When you plan to be away from your phone for any length of time, you can
leave a programmed station message on your phone’s display (e.g. “In a
Meeting”). Display keysets calling you will also see this message. The mes-
sage may also contain instructions for callers to follow. In ‘L’ version systems
there are 30 possible messages (01–30). In ‘M’ version systems there are 20
possible messages (01–20). Messages 01–10 are set up by default as fol-
lows (the rest are blank):

Each of these default messages and the blank messages can be customised
in programming as required. To see what messages have been set up for
your system:

tions.

PROGRAMMED MESSAGE KEYS
You may have message (
PMSG
) keys programmed on your keyset, each
with a different message code as an extender. If so:
§
Press the
PMSG
key you require. The message is set and the key will
light red. Press the key again to turn the LED off.
§
Pressing a different
PMSG
key will turn the previous message off and set
a new message.
