To add friends to your Friends list:
1. In Idle mode, select
Applications
→
Talk
The friend list shows all of your Google Talk contacts at
a glance.
2. Press [

Add friend
.
3. Enter the email address of the friend and select
Send
invitation
.
When your friend accepts the invitation, they are added to
your friend list.
To start a chat:
1. In Idle mode, select
Applications
→
Talk
2. Select a friend from the Friends list. The chat screen
opens.
3. Enter your message and select
Send
.
To insert emoticons, press [
]
→
More
→
Insert
smiley
.
4. To switch between active chats, press [
]
→
Switch
chats
.
5. To end the chat, press [
]
→
End chat
