In Idle mode, select Applications and then select Settings →
Sound → Volume . Drag the sliders to set the volume that will be
used.
Change ringtone
To change your ringtone:
1.
In Idle mode, select Applications and then select
Settings → Sound → Voice call ringtone .
2.
Select a ringtone from the list and select OK .
Switch to Silent mode
To use Silent mode to mute or unmute your phone:
•
In Idle mode, select Applications and then select Settings →
Sound → Silent mode .
•
In Idle mode, select Phone → Keypad , and then tap and hold # .
•
In Idle mode, press and hold and select Silent mode .
Switch to Vibrate mode
When enabled, your phone vibrates to alert you to incoming
calls, as well as playing the call ringtone.
To use Vibrate mode:
•
In Idle mode, select Applications and then select Settings →
Sound → Vibrate .
•
Select Always , Never , Only in silent mode , Only when not in
silent mode .
Note:
The Phone vibrate setting is independent of other call sound
settings. For example, if you have Silent mode enabled with
Phone vibrate, your phone won’t play a ringtone, but will vibrate
for an incoming call.
Use animations when switching windows
To activate animations when switching windows:
•
In Idle mode, select Applications and then select Settings →
Display → Animation → Some animations or All animations .
