Customizing camera settings
On the preview screen, tap . Some options may not be available depending on the
shooting mode.
Intelligent features
•
Scene optimizer
: Set the device to adjust the colour settings and apply the optimized
effect automatically depending on the subject or scene.

Shot suggestions
: Set the device to suggest the ideal composition for the photo by
recognizing the position and angle of your subject.

Smart selfie angle
: Set the device to automatically switch to a wide-angle selfie when
there are more than two people in the frame.

Scan QR codes
: Set the device to scan QR codes from the preview screen.
Pictures
•
Swipe Shutter button to edge to
: Select an action to perform when you swipe the
camera button to the edge of the screen and hold it.

Save options
: Select how you want to save photos.

HEIF pictures (Photo)
: Take photos in the High Efficiency Image Format (HEIF).

Save RAW copies:
Set the device to save photos as uncompressed RAW files (DNG file
format) in pro mode. RAW files contain unprocessed data from the image sensor for
processing using image-processing software. They take up more storage space. When
using the
Save RAW copies
feature, each photo is saved in two formats, DNG and JPG.

Ultra wide shape correction
: Set the device to correct distortion in photos taken with
the Ultra wide camera.
Videos

Rear video size
: Select an aspect ratio and resolution for videos you want to take with
the rear camera. Using a higher resolution will result in higher quality videos, but they will
take up more storage space.

Front video size
: Select an aspect ratio and resolution for videos you want to take with
the front camera. Using a higher resolution will result in higher quality videos, but they
will take up more storage space.

Pro video size
: Select an aspect ratio and resolution for videos you want to take in pro

take up more storage space.
