Menu functions

Current account: select an account.
Account settings: configure up to five e-mail 

accounts using different e-mail servers. The 

following options are available for each account:
• In use: activate the current e-mail account.
• Account name: enter a name for the currently 

selected account.

• User name: enter a user name.
• Email address: enter your e-mail address.
• Reply address: enter an e-mail address to be 

used when you send a reply message.

• User ID: enter your e-mail ID.
• Password: enter your e-mail password.
• SMTP server: enter the IP address or domain 

name of the outgoing e-mail server.

• SMTP port: enter the SMTP port number.
• Protocol type: select the protocol for the 

incoming e-mail server. The remaining options 

depend on the protocol type setting. 

The following options are available when the 

protocol type is POP3:

• POP3 server: enter the IP address or domain 

name of the server that receives your e-mail. 

• POP3 port: enter the POP3 port number.
• APOP login: connect to the server by using 

the APOP login scheme when this option is 

selected. 

These options are available when the protocol type 

is IMAP4:
• IMAP4 server: enter the IP address or domain 

name of the server that receives your e-mail.

• IMAP4 port: enter the IMAP4 port number.
• Include attachments: select this option to 

receive attachments with e-mails.

• Max retrieve Email: set the number of 

headers you will retrieve from the server.

• Email profile: configure the network settings 

required to send or receive e-mails.
Current profile: select a profile.
Profile settings: configure up to five e-mail 

profiles.

Profile name: enter a profile name.
APN: enter the access point name.
