Tour of the Remote Control
Your HDD & DVD Recorder remote control will work with Samsung televisions and compatible brands.
TITLE LIST/DISC MENU button
Use this to enter the View Recording list/disc menu.
SUBTITLE/RED(A) button :
When you use DTV, press this button to select the subtitle.
Press this to switch DVD’s subtitle language.
REC MODE/GREEN(B) button
Use this to set the desired recording time and picture
quality. (XP/SP/LP/EP).
GUIDE button
Press this to switch programme guide.
REC button
Use to make a recording on HDD/DVD-RAM/-RW/-R discs.
TV/RADIO/MARKER button
In
DTV
mode, press this to switch TV or Radio mode.
Use this to bookmark a position while playing a disc.
HDD button
Press this to operate HDD.
INPUT SEL button
Select input signal in external input mode (PROG,
AV1, AV2, AV3 or DV input)
OPEN/CLOSE button
To open and close the disc tray.
TV STANDBY/ON button
COPY
Press this when you copy DVD to HDD and vice-versa.
To start copying, press the
COPY
button on the title list
screen or press the
COPY
button during the playback.
AUDIO button
Use this to access various audio functions on a disc.
(DVD mode)
PLAY/PAUSE button
Press to play/pause a disc.
PROG button
Use this to select a TV programme.
DTV/ANALOG button
Select Digital/Analogue broadcasting.
RETURN button
EXIT button
PLAY LIST/TITLE MENU button
Use this to return to the Title menu, or to view the
recorded fi les list.
ALT/YELLOW(C) button
When you use DTV, press this button to select the
Audio track.
FAV LIST/BLUE(D) button
When you use DTV, press this button to switch
between favorit list.
TEXT button
When you use DTV, press this button to using the
digital text service.
REC PAUSE/TIME SHIFT button
Use this to pause during recording.
In HDD mode, use this to operate Time shift function.
TIMER/REPEAT button
Press to directly enter the Timer Recording Mode menu.
Allows you to repeat a title, chapter, track or disc.
