Printing on Transparencies

• When you print a color document do not use transparencies 

with an attached backing sheet. This may cause print quality 
problems.

• Only use transparencies recommended for use in laser 

printers.

• Ensure that transparencies do not have torn edges and are 

not wrinkled or curled.

• Hold the transparencies by the edges and avoid touching the 

print side. Oils from your fingers can cause print quality 
problems.

• Be careful not to leave fingerprints on the print side and/or 

scratch marks.

• The following paper types are recommended:

A4: 003R96002, Letter: 3R3108
