VEN USE
USING THE ROTI/NAAN SETTINGS
The following table presents the various Roti/Naan Programmes and appropriate
instructions.

Roti
2 pieces
Whole wheat flour – 2 cup, Water as required for
dough, Ghee – 50 g, Salt to taste
Instructions
In a bowl add flour, salt and ghee. Knead with sufficient water
and make smooth dough. Cover and leave for ½ hour. Divide
into 4 equal balls, roll out with the help of a rolling pin and make
4 rotis. Apply a little oil at one side of roti and place that side down
on the crusty plate and cook. Keep 2 rotis at a time on the crusty
plate. When beep, turn the food over and press start. Serve hot
with butter. Repeat the same process until all the Roti has been
prepared.

Naan
2 pieces
All-purpose flour – 2 cup, Sugar – ¼ tbsp.,
Hot water, (but not boiling, just hot tap water)
– ¼ cup, Active dry yeast – ½ tsp., Warm milk –
½ cup, Melted butter for brushing (may use olive
oil), Fresh garlic or other herbs for topping
Instructions
Combine the warm water with the sugar and yeast. Let sit for
10 minutes until foamy. It should smell like bread. In a bowl add the
flour, warm milk and Yeast mixture. Mix with a wooden spoon until
dough starts to come together and then finish mixing the dough
with your hands until a smooth but still sticky ball forms. Cover
the dough with a damp towel Or plastic wrap and let sit in a warm
place for 2 to 3 hour. After 2 to 3 hours dough will be double to its
size, punch the dough down and divide into 4 equal balls. Using a
rolling-pin, roll each piece of dough into an oval shape. The dough
should be about 6-8 inches long and about ¼-inch thick, but no
thinner. Repeat this method with the rest of the dough. Apply a
little oil at one side of naan and place the dough on the crusty plate
and cook. Keep 2 Naans at a time on the crusty plate. When beep,
turn the food over and press start. Serve hot with butter. Repeat
the same process until all the Naans has been prepared.
USING THE CURD FEATURE
Place the Curd in the centre of the turntable and close the door.

When curd time has finished, the oven will beep
and flash “0” four times.
The end reminder signal will beep 3 times. (once
every minute).
USING THE CURD SETTINGS
The following table presents curd items.
The covection heater operates only and it will cycle on and off to make curd.
Use oven glove while taking out!

Curd
Take half liter of milk in MWS glass bowl & put in microwave at
180W for 22 min.
Take it out & let it cool till it is lukewarm (approx 37 °C),
add 3 tbsp curd & stir well.
Put it back in microwave and press the start button. The curd
will be ready after 2 hours.
Remove from Microwave immediately and put in Refrigerator.
Do not use this function without heating and cooling the milk. This programmes is
for making curd after cooling.
Please keep in Refrigerator to prevent from becoming sour after cooking.
