Broadcast Messages (SIM Card Dependent)
Receiving options
This option allows you to determine whether to receive or reject Broadcast
messages.
1.
In Idle mode, press the
Menu
soft key to access Menu mode.
2.
Using the Navigation keys, scroll to the
Messages
icon. Press the
Select
soft key or the
key to enter the menu.
3.
Highlight the
Broadcast messages
option and press the
Select
soft key or
the
key.
4.
Select the
Receive
option and press the
Select
soft key or the
key.
5.
Highlight the
On
option and press the
Save
soft key to confirm your
selection.
Channel options
This option allows you to select whether you want Broadcast messages received for
all or respective channels.
1.
In Idle mode, press the
Menu
soft key to access Menu mode.
2.
Using the Navigation keys, scroll to the
Messages
icon. Press the
Select
soft key or the
key to enter the menu.
3.
Highlight the
Broadcast messages
option and press the
Select
soft key or
the
key.
4.
Select the
Channel
option and press the
Select
soft key or the
key.
5.
Highlight
All channels
to receive Broadcast messages on all channels and
press the
Select
soft key or the
key.
6.
Highlight
Respective channels
to receive Broadcast messages on only
selected channels and press the
Select
soft key or the
key.
Language options
1.
In Idle mode, press the
Menu
soft key to access Menu mode.
2.
Using the Navigation keys, scroll to the
Messages
icon. Press the
Select
soft key or the
key to enter the menu.
3.
Highlight the
Broadcast messages
option and press the
Select
soft key or
the
key.
4.
Select the
Language
option and press the
Select
soft key or the
key.
5.
Highilight the language you want the broadcast messages to receive in and
press the
OK
soft key.
